Additional Questions and Answers
What about seeing each other before the wedding? We encourage it! Although some of our couples choose not to, we find bride and groom portraits are stronger and evoke more emotion when you make time and plan for them. As an added benefit, doing them before a late afternoon or evening ceremony means we can take advantage of our beautiful Connecticut daylight.
When do you start photographing? We suggest thinking in terms of what you want to have photographed. If it's preparation shots, then it's nice to have a photographer in your suite for at least 30 minutes.
Do you use an assistant? Yes, we often hire assistants to work with us. Some of them also serve as second photographers. A second photographer can be invaluable, especially when you've decided not to see each beforehand.
When do I reserve my date? We recommend placing a reservation 6-12 months from your wedding day. We do not take reservations more than one year out from your wedding date.
What are your fees? We offer wedding photography for every budget with basic level coverage starting at $500. Please inquire for more detailed pricing information.
What's included in your packages? Photography of your entire wedding day including bride preparation, wedding ceremony and reception photography. Also included in every coverage: wedding book, slide show and proof CD of your complete wedding portfolio.
What about digital negatives? They are included in most wedding coverages. All digital negatives are retouched and color-balanced, something many photographers do not provide. |
